50 Leaders For 50 Years
The 2019 Project 1000 #50For50 campaign, sponsored by EY, marked the first time that the investment and savings industry celebrated Pride. This also marked the 50 years since the Stonewall movement began in 1969 in New York which is widely regarded as the catalyst for the progress of LGBT+ rights. The purpose of the campaign was to showcase visible support for inclusion and contribute towards achieving the overall mission of Project 1000. The final 50 were revealed at an industry Pride event at Schroders and the impact of the campaign has resulted in a surge of support and provided some LGBT+ colleagues the confidence they need to feel great at work.
