Our insights training sessions consist of an intro, context, relevant industry specific data points and concepts. We use a blend of behavioural science, LGBT+ inclusion theory and industry knowledge to demonstrate how this can be applied to everyday use. These are then workshopped live with participants during the session and a conversation with leadership is role modelled.

LGBT Great’s insights training series is comprised of twelve different training courses which focus on LGBT+ and intersectionality issues. All our insights training feature industry research and data points, real-life stories, and interactive engagement with participants throughout. The training is delivered in partnership with our members and engages business leaders to role model support and encourage lively debate and conversation.

How are LGBT Great’s training sessions structured?
What themes do the insights training sessions cover?
The training sessions range from a series of LGBT+ specific themes such as LGBT+ language, identities, personal pronouns as well as broader themes such as mental health and well-being, allyship and inclusive leadership. Core members are also able to recommend key themes and topics for LGBT Great to add to its suite of insights trainings.
How are these tailored for specific regions like Asia?
Every training insights training session is customised to the location(s) that a member’s employees are based. LGBT Great provides a pre-session briefing where objectives are clarified and context identified. LGBT Great then works with its community to engage relevant local role models and allies.
In what format are the training sessions available?
The insights training sessions can be delivered in a variety of virtual formats including large theatre style audiences with thousands of people. They can also be workshopped as smaller audiences and in a round tables format.
