Bio: Emmanuel is the CEO and Co-Founder of BrickVest, the only fully regulated online investment platform in Europe exclusively dedicated to global real estate deals, investors and sponsors.
Previously Emmanuel co-founded 1OAK Financial Group, a London-based alternative investment manager that notably launched liquid solutions and held a pre-IPO investment in Twitter Inc. Prior to that Emmanuel was Head of Investments at Masdar City, the Abu Dhabi sponsored $25bn landmark "green" ecocity project.
Emmanuel spent 10 years as an investment banker in London and New York at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup. He was involved in the origination and execution of $40bn M&A, equity and debt assignments in Continental Europe, the US and the Middle East across the real estate, infrastructure and technology sectors.
He says: "Following my coming out 5 years ago and separation shortly thereafter coupled with significant changes in the financial services, this spurred a reinvention and the beginning of BrickVest. As a dad of 2 wonderful teenagers, I'm passionate about leading from the front and from day one BrickVest has been built with diversity as one of the founding pillars, along with transparency, regulation and technology. Built as a liquidity infrastructure for global real estate investment participants, BrickVest naturally strived through diversity. Emmanuel is an active member of London Frontrunners, an inclusive running club for LGBT+ and gay friendly people. Running and his involvement in the club has been an important outlet for Emmanuel through some of the big changes in his life over recent years.
