Rob is a prominent financial expert, entrepreneur and activist for making money a force for good. He has made it his life's mission to utilise his influence and the organisations he's involved with to elevate people and the planet alongside profits to create financial wellbeing, in a world worth living in'.

He is the Investment Director and an executive board member for St. James's Place Wealth Management where he is responsible for investing the wealth of 850,000 clients and over £150 billion and since he joined the firm SJP has taken an industry leading role in responsible investing to positively impact the global climate crisis. Rob is also the co-founder of Redington, one of the UK's leading investment consultancies, and has worked closely with SJP's Investment Committee for a number of years. He is also a Member of the World Economic Forum Retirement Council.

Rob is an advocate for financial education and founder of the charity RedSTART. He has authored the children's book Save Your Acorns' to teach children how money works, given a TEDx talk on the importance of teaching children about money and is the Chair of the Children's Financial Education Policy Council in the UK. At SJP, Rob is the executive sponsor for the firm's inclusion work on black, ethnic and minority communities and a member of the firm's inclusion and diversity council, which includes support and advocacy for LGBT+ inclusion. Through his leadership, Robert is a passionate and empathetic ally to others and a key supporter of his LGBT+ colleagues across the firm.

Being an LGBT+ ally is a great way for me to give back and I am here to support. I am an ally to help break down stereotypes and improve awareness for others who need our help. Allyship is about not assuming, slowing down, taking the time to listen and putting yourself in someone else's shoes. LGBT Great's initiative is a great way to raise awareness for the allyship that exists at SJP and the broader industry. I am proud to be part of it."
