Carolyn Schuster-Woldan

About
Bio: Carolyn joined Redington as a Managing Director in the Investment Consulting team in April 2019, having worked at Hewitt, Mercer and LCP. She is lead consultant to a number of clients ranging in size from £150m to £20bn. Her advice covers all aspect of investment, including investment strategy, manager election and monitoring. She also has people management responsibilities within the consulting team. She is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
Carolyn is a vocal supporter of diversity and inclusion within the investment industry. Her previous experience of supporting networks and acting as an ally is her practical contribution to fostering a more inclusive environment. Carolyn also actively encourages asset managers to get involved with diversity initiatives, in line with Redington's wider aims of trying to have an impact on the wider industry.
She strongly believes that the value of diversity can only be recognised alongside inclusion, and advocates for an environment where everyone feels able to share their views. In her previous role, Carolyn introduced "Resume", which is a programme designed to get people back into the workforce after a prolonged break. Carolyn was recognised in her previous role as "best coach" in the firm, reflecting her leadership, coaching and development of others.
