About
Bio: Andrea Jacob is the Asia Pacific Financial Controller at Fidelity International. Based in Australia, Andrea manages a large team across the Asia Pacific region and is responsible for providing leadership for all aspects of financial control and accounting for over 25 companies across 7 jurisdictions, including the development and execution of strategic Finance change programmes.
Andrea is a board member of a number of Fidelity International subsidiary investment management companies and a member of management and operating committees within the region.
Andrea is an active LGBTQIA+ Ally and is Fidelity's LGBTQIA+ Network lead for Australia. In her spare time works with a LGBTQIA+ not-for-profit organization Qtopia which is focused on education and celebration of the history and lived experience of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Andrea has improved LGBTQIA+ inclusion within the Fidelity International Australia office by developing and implementing a best practice strategy to promote LGBTQIA+ inclusivity through training and events, amending local policies and procedures and establishing partnerships with LGBTQIA+ organisations. In 2023, Andrea led the initiative to achieve Fidelity Australia's bronze status for the Australian Workplace Equality Index for LGBTQIA+ workplace inclusion.
