Bio: Sanjay Paramesh has been with HSBC for over 15 years now and currently works with the Asset Management Business as Vice President - Business Management.
Sanjay currently leads the Pride chapter for all the Global Service Centers for HSBC as part of his role as the GSC lead for Pride ERG under the DE&I umbrella and was the first employee to come out in GSC India.
Sanjay started off with the Pride ERG journey in India when Section 377 was decriminalized in Sep 2018. He started as site lead for Bangalore and was the first employee to come out openly in the GSC's in India. With the experience and the changes made by the ERG over the last 4 years he was selected as the Site Lead for all the India GSC's in June 2022 and later got elevated to Global Chair of Pride for all the GSC's across the globe for HSBC in January 2023.
