About
Bio: Roberta Giammaria co-chairs the BlackRock’s LGBTQ+ network Out & Allies in EMEA and she is an active member of a number of diversity and inclusion working groups across the firm globally. She is committed to delivering programmes of activities to foster a diverse, intersectional and inclusive environment at work. In particular, whilst celebrating advancements in LGBTQ+ inclusion, she is committed to creating opportunities to increase visibility and amplify the voices of underrepresented identities within the LGBTQ+ spectrum, such as transgender and non-binary people.
Roberta is a member of the BlackRock ETF and Index Investments (EII) Product Commercialisation team focusing on Sustainable indexing products. In this role, she develops product narratives and distribution strategies for sales, thought leadership, and commercial campaigns. Prior to joining BlackRock, Roberta led the firms relations segment for the Financial Conduct Authority's regulatory data collection platform. Roberta has experience working with UN and EU agencies, and governmental bodies in the UK. Roberta holds a MSc in Political Science and Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BA in Cultural Studies from the University of Sussex.
