Bio: Jeremy is an Associate at Lazard Asset Management. He began working in the investment field in 2018 in various roles such as product, marketing and relationship management. Outside work, Jeremy is also an avid traveller having been to 50+ countries, a Classical singer and pianist. He speaks fluently Cantonese, Mandarin, English and French.

I am a firm believer that mutual respect and empathy are the most important qualities in life. I am our firm's steering committee for the Proud network and the Asian alliance network. We are are an employee led group that aims to provide support to our staff globally on LGBT issues. We regularly hold meetings and conferences, invite speakers etc. to raise awareness of the importance of being our true authentic self at work. As a person of colour and a member of the LGBT community, I do not see a lot of representation in our industry, one that is traditionally dominated by white, heterosexual male. I believe that our different experiences deserve to be empowered, heard and shared.

I believe that we are all a role model in our own way. We posses unique experiences, values and qualities that can inspire and guide those around us. It is not about achieving the highest grade, being the wealthiest, or the most powerful, it is about leading by example - showing that it is possible to overcome challenges in life, to promote a growth mindset, to empower others to realise their potential and promote a sense of belonging.
