About
Bio: Caroline is known to everyone as Cat, which stems from her first few weeks as an intern at Watson Wyatt. The friends that Cat made during those six weeks, along with her current Willis Towers Watson colleagues and clients, have affectionately known her as Cat ever since.
Cat has really enjoyed her 10 years of challenges in a number of roles as an investment consultant. Alongside her current role as a strategist in Willis Towers Watson's delegated investment solutions team, she chairs their Global Inclusion and Diversity taskforce. The organisation has a good culture and they recognise they are very lucky to have such great people, but they also note there is more that they can do to make it a great culture. Cat shares that "<em>Being able to engage with our leaders and sponsor initiatives to ensure that we even further foster an environment where everyone can enjoy their jobs as much as I have, is really rewarding</em>".
Cat has been married for 9 years. Her partner, Rich is a marketing manager at Reigate Grammar School; a career that contrasts but complements and supports her role as an investment consultant.
Cat comments: "I'm sure you will agree that our social lives are enhanced when we have partners and friends that share interesting perspectives and stories about their own lives, their families and their experiences. I can't see any reason why we wouldn't all want the same from our colleagues at work, and therefore I am proud to be role model to anyone wanting to thrive in the Investment industry". In closing Cat adds "I would encourage everyone to become a visible ally for the LGBT community and indeed to anyone wanting to make a career in the industry".
