About
Bio: Alex is responsible for Schroders key intermediary clients and global financial institutions in London. He helped form SchOUT, Schroder’s LGBT+ Employee Resource Group, and continues to play a key role in driving the LGBT+ inclusion agenda at the firm.
Alex joined Schroders in 2002 as an investment analyst and in October 2004 assumed responsibility for Investment Trust Business Development for the firm. From 2008, he moved to join the UK Intermediary Business Development Team and has helped grow the firm’s Tier 1 client base since.
During his 16 years at Schroders, Alex has been out to both his colleagues and clients, receiving much support across the industry. However he is conscious that his experience is not always enjoyed by everyone, and is eager to help promote LGBT visibility and inclusion within the asset management community at all levels.
As such, in 2016, Alex helped form SchOUT with the aim of bringing together colleagues from across Schroders to create an LGBT network that encourages an inclusive culture where everyone can bring their whole self to work and realise their potential.
