Bio: Jasper Martens is Chief Marketing Officer at PensionBee, UK's leading online pension provider. Leading up product and marketing, he brings 15 years of experience to the fintech startup, recognised as one of the Fintech50, and as Schroder's Leading Digital Platform of the Year.
Prior to PensionBee, Jasper was Head of Marketing and Communications at small business insurance provider Simply Business. Before moving to moving to London, Jasper ran his own online marketing agency.
He is a passionate advocate of diverse thinking and is also a Project 1000 role model to others. From a strict Christian religious upbringing, he understands the challenges of acceptance and inclusion. Jasper has been a mentor for gay ex-Jehovah's Witnesses and at PensionBee he is making sure his team at PensionBee is diverse and inclusive.
Jasper comments: "I am passionate to eliminate deep rooted perceptions about LBGT+ in financial services. Coming from a don't ask-don't-tell in my early days in my career, it's fantastic to see how my role can drive change in organisations such as PensionBee, building inclusive and happy teams.
