About

Bio: As Chief People Brand & Communications Officer, Krungthai-AXA Life (KTAXA), Oy is responsible for overseeing KTAXA's Human Resources Strategies and Operations including Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Culture Change Management and Inclusion & Diversity (I&D). A dynamic and collaborative leader, Oy drives for innovative Learning & Development and Talent Management strategies to generate positive business outcomes. She leads KTAXA's HR team to be a catalyst in transformational change while building strong partnerships as Trusted Advisor and helping to grow employee engagement.

Prior to joining KTAXA, Oy was Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Human Resources at Standard Chartered Bank, Thailand & Representative Offices (Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar). She has over 28 years of experience in HR management and consulting across multiple sectors in a range of industries, cultures and countries, including Switzerland and Singapore. She was also the Managing Director of Towers Watson and Country Manager of Mercer Human Resources Consulting. Oy held the position of Chairman of the Thai Institute of Banking and Finance Association (TIBFA) from 2012-2017.

Under her strong leadership and dedication to I&D, she has transformed KTAXA's commitment to inclusion through her development of several initiatives including the company's involvement and sponsorship of IDAHOBIT, Rainbow Day and The Pride Festival.

Oy studied Financial Management at Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland and received an Honors degree Bachelor's in Political Interna Science from Thammasat University. She also graduated from the National Institute of Development Administration with an Honors Masters degree in Public Administration and received an award for Academic Excellence. Oy is an Academic Honorary Committee Member of the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University. She dedicates her time to teaching students on the Masters of Business Administration in Human Resources and Organizational Management (HR MBA), and donates all the proceeds to providing scholarships for underprivileged students seeking support with HR Degrees.

Oy enjoys collecting vinyl, playing musical instruments and dancing. In 2019, she won the Women Worth Watching' awards as presented by Diversity Journal'.
