Daniel Lehmann

About
Bio: Since 2021, Daniel Lehmann is Head of Business Management in Technology, Operations and Products. Before that, he served five years as Chief Operating Officer, Asia Pacific, with Allianz Global Investors, responsible for the firm's overall operations in Asia Pacific and located in Hong Kong. Daniel joined Allianz Global Investors in 2016 and has since held various roles in the Product area including Global Head of Products, where he was responsible for the global product strategy and product activities. He was also Member of the Board of Efama, as well as member of the Board of Hong Kong IFA. Daniel has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Bonn, Germany.
Originally from Cologne in Germany, Daniel is a believer in equality for all. Following his relocation to Hong Kong he noticed the differences in progress within society at large. The art installation of a Multi-National Bank, where their iconic statues were covered in rainbow colours, sparked controversy insociety and following that, Daniel decided to take an active role in promoting LGBT+ inclusiveness in his company as an active ally. He has become an executive sponsor and member of the AllianzGI global LGBT+ group which has achieved significant progress over the last two years through awareness building, education and policy review.

I believe that all people should be valued as a human beings equally regardless of their identity.
