Bio: Pierre-Yves S. Rahari is the co-Founder of AlgoMe Consulting, a London-based consultancy firm specializing in the asset management sector. AlgoMe Consulting helps asset management firms and service providers navigate the key challenges related to strategic positioning, business transformation, shifting investor demands and new regulations in an increasingly complex market environment.
Pierre-Yves brings 20 years of experience from the financial services industry. Of late, he oversaw the investor servicing function for PIMCO in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Prior to joining PIMCO, he was associated with Morgan Stanley, Franklin Templeton Investments, RBC Dexia and Scottish Equitable International.
Pierre-Yves partakes as a Lecturer in the Certified Investment Fund Director program in Dublin, Ireland. He served as a member of the PIMCO London pension governance committee. He also served as a Trustee on the Board of One Westminster, a London-based volunteering organization.
At PIMCO, Pierre-Yves helped launch the PIMCO Pride (LGBT) network. In the past, Pierre-Yves also volunteered with the Boston-based advocacy organization GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Advocate and Defenders), and with the AIDS Action Committee.
Pierre-Yves studied business administration, corporate governance and psychotherapy. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, USA.
