Tim Davies
Wealth Manager at AAG
About
Bio: Originally from Canada, Tim Davies, Wealth Manager at AAG has spent the last ten years helping families and medical professionals plan for their financial futures. Tim's earlier career saw him managing government and indigenous community affairs and large scale natural resource projects in western Canada. This provided him with an expert understanding of how invested funds are utilized to develop projects and how politics and social license to operate can affect projects and investments. Tim's passion is helping his clients with tax efficient wealth preservation and intergenerational wealth transfer strategies regardless of your gender identity or sexual orientation.
As a straight ally Tim admits it took attending a same sex marriage ten years ago to really let go of any pre-conceived notions around gender identity and sexual orientation. Tim's larger family includes mixed race families and other family members who have declared their gender identity as non-binary. Tim's inclusive attitude to his broader family extends to his workplace and community as a whole, and he continues to seek ways to be an advocate for the LGBTA community. Further to this Tim is an advocate of the UK Says No More initiative of Hestia Foundation to end domestic violence and sexual assault.
Tim enjoys a multitude of outdoor activities including blue water sailing, having sailed at least half of the globe. When around the city Tim enjoys road cycling south in the hills of Surrey.
Tim lives in West London with his wife and two younger daughters, while three older children are developing their careers in Canada.
