About
Bio: Nick is the Senior Talent Development Manager at Pension Insurance Corporation (‘PIC’) and is responsible for learning and development, performance management and diversity and inclusion. He set up PIC’s Diversity and Inclusion (‘D&I’) Forum in January 2020, gaining executive support and representation on the forum, to drive the D&I agenda forward. The D&I Forum’s strategy is action focused and has three aims – engaging with external partners who align with our values; educating our colleagues on a range of D&I topics and enabling people to reach their full potential by identifying barriers to success and challenging senior management to act.
Nick comments that:
“When I first came out in the late 90s you could still be fired from your job for being gay and there was nothing you could do about it. This is something which happened to me early in my career and is an experience which has driven me to do all I can to enable people to reach their full potential. Not just in the LGBTQ+ community, but for everyone who faces barriers in showing people just how brilliant they can be. It’s one of the reasons why I chose a career in Talent Development. To now be in a place where something like the Top 100 Gamechangers exists, and to be recognised as part of that, is something I’m immensely proud of.”
Nick comments that:
