Tanvi Nair

About
Bio: Tanvi is currently a Consultant in the Global Fund Services Business Management Team at Northern, based in India. In her day job, she works with various business units in the Global Fund Services to collate, analyze and present data to the Senior and Executive Management teams to aid decision making. After completing her master’s degree in Statistics from University of Pune in 2014, she started working as a Statistics Tutor for Esolve Knowledge Services. After working as a tutor, a long stint, Tanvi joined IDeaS – A SAS Company, at which she worked on Revenue Optimization for the hospitality sector.
Towards the end of 2019, she Tanvi came out as a Trans woman and joined Northern Trust as an Associate Consultant in August 2020. Northern Trust’s inclusive policies and practices enabled Tanvi to bring her fullest and most authentic self to work.
Tanvi is a vocal LGBT+ advocate both within Northern Trust and externally. Internally, she contributes towards and leads various activities together with Northern Trust’s PRIDE BRC (Business Resource Council). Externally, Tanvi is a TEDx speaker on LGBT+ issues and founded the Ally Nation Project, which provides free gender sensitization training to create a safe space for learning, as well as building out a network of active allies.
