About
Bio: Paul is Managing Director, Head of UK FX Investor Sales at Citi. In this role Paul manages a team that looks after all the foreign exchange needs of the firms largest asset managers, hedge funds and banks in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East. In addition to managing the team Paul continues to look after the daily FX needs of some of the firms largest clients.
Paul is a member of the EMEA Talent, Diversity and Inclusion Board, the London Pride Steering Committee, the Markets Graduate Committee, and founded the “Out in Markets” group for staff and allies who identify as LGBT in Citi’s EMEA markets division.

Paul spent the first decade plus of his career in the closet a decision he regrets noting the overwhelming positive response from management chain as well as clients and colleagues alike since he came out. Reflecting on why it took him so long to come out Paul notes it was the lack of visible role models at the time.
Paul strongly believes people perform better when they can bring their true selves to the office and are not trying to hide anything and believes in the importance of role models and notes you cannot be what you don’t see.
Paul was born and raised in Ireland where he completed a BA in Economics from Trinity College Dublin in 2007.
