Bio: David has worked in the Financial Industry for over 30 years and for Jupiter Asset Management since 2016 as a Business Analyst. He is also a founding member of the Jupiter Pride Network and is currently Co-Chair.
It was through the support of colleagues and friends that David gained the confidence to come out in his late 30s. Prior to this he had had a series of unsuccessful relationships and had hidden who he truly was.
David comments: "If there had been LGBT+ role models and groups like the Jupiter Pride Network earlier in my career, I think things would have been very different. That is why I am happy to be part of the network, creating an open, supportive and inclusive environment for LGBT employees and Allies.
It is only by encouraging people to bring their whole selves' to work that we can unlock their true potential, which is positive for the individual and the company."

With another colleague we formed the Jupiter Pride Network in 2018, which I am now co-chair of. We have 11 members and over 60 Allies and are one of 4 Networks making up the DE&I forum at Jupiter.
The fact that we have organisations like LGBT Great today makes me proud. Earlier in my career when I was struggling with who I really am, I had no one to turn to. I am so pleased to be an active member to support and promote everyone who identifies as LGBT+
