Overview
This session will introduce the concept of intersectionality and explore its significance from both a business and human perspective. We will examine the foundational elements of intersectional allyship and discuss how to translate theory into practical action.
Learning Outcomes for Attendees:
- Introducing Intersectionality: We will begin by defining and explaining the concept of intersectionality, clarifying its key components and significance. (~15 minutes)
- The Business and Human Case for Intersectionality: This segment will delve into the compelling reasons for embracing intersectionality, examining both the business benefits and the positive impact on individuals. (~10 minutes)
- Foundational Blocks of Intersectional Allyship: We will review the core principles and essential elements of becoming an effective intersectional ally. (~15 minutes)
- Turning Theory into Action: This section will focus on practical strategies and actionable steps for implementing intersectional principles in everyday scenarios. (~15 minutes)
- Dedicated Q/A: A dedicated Q/A slot at the end of the session. (~5 minutes)

Format: Zoom/Teams Webinar, PowerPoint Presentation with live Q&A, chat and live polling. (In-Person sessions available on-demand)
