Insights Webinar: The Pride Movement and LGBT+ Identities Explained

Pride is about celebrating differences, standing in solidarity, and practicing support and allyship towards others. The Pride movement has gained considerable traction and is celebrated all over the world. A key reason for its success has been the passion and resilience of the LGBT+ community, but also the support it has received from allies and corporations.

A common barrier to engagement in LGBT+ DE&I is the fear of ‘getting it wrong’ and making a mistake. Whether this is due to a lack of available information or accidentally saying the wrong thing, many employees shy away from the conversation because they do not feel that there is a ‘safe space’ to make a mistake. LGBT Great is working to help break down this stereotype within financial services.
