LGBT Great Announces New Partnership with NEXUS LGBTQ+
LGBT Great is proud to partner with NEXUS LGBTQ+ to celebrate and amplify the work of LGBTQ+ network and ERG leaders, creating conversations and driving adoption of what works across industries. These leaders and changemakers are at the heart of building inclusive workplaces where everyone can thrive.
What is NEXUS LGBTQ+?
NEXUS LGBTQ+ is a volunteer-led network founded in 2015 that connects LGBTQ+ employee network leaders, sponsors, and chairs across various sectors in London to:
- Share strategies to effectively lead and grow LGBTQ+ employee networks
- Share evolving best practices and issues around LGBTQ+ in the workplace through thought leadership presentations and facilitated discussions
- Educate participants on key LGBTQ+ campaigns, initiatives and news stories
- Build connections for cross-company and cross-ERG benchmarking, insights, collaboration and support
- Enhance personal networks
- Create a safe space for challenging LGBTQ+ topics to be explored
- Showcase LGBTQ+ charities who might otherwise struggle to access and engage a broad range of companies for support
- Challenge ERG leaders to explore different solutions and opportunities for themselves and their networks to accelerate and enhance individual and network progress
NEXUS LGBTQ+ brings participants from a wide range of market-leading global and UK organisations across sectors together for quarterly in-person networking breakfasts hosted by different companies. Participation is free. Representatives from over 150 organisations are currently participating in NEXUS LGBTQ+.
In an ever-changing political and cultural landscape, LGBT Great and NEXUS LGBTQ+ are joining up their expertise and networks to help strengthen ERGs across sectors, creating spaces for connection, collaboration, and sharing. By bringing our resources together to support ERG leaders, we will equip them to have greater impact and reach in their workplaces and in wider society.
