Christopher Dean
Head of Marketing at Atomos
About
Bio: Christopher is Head of Marketing for Sanlam UK, where he leads on the development of Sanlam's brand in the wealth & asset management market.
Prior to his role with Sanlam, Christopher spent over 10 years working in PR, communications and marketing for other wealth managers and financial services organisations, both in-house and agency-side. Christopher graduated from the University of Hull with a BA in Politics and MSc in Business Management.
Sanlam is an international business with offices across the globe, and that means they have a global mind-set. Christopher comments that Sanlam is good at appealing to people from all different backgrounds and outlooks, and that leads to a more open, creative and inclusive workplace. Sanlam also operates with a very strong "give it a go" mind-set; everyone is empowered to explore new ideas and ways of working and are actively encouraged to challenge the status quo.
Chris says: "When you make the most of everyone's talents, regardless of who they are, life is better; not only do companies have a greater understanding of their clients and perform better, but people have a happier personal life as well. Inclusion is important because if you respect everyone for who they are, you'll get the best out of them."
