About
Bio: Karin is the Chief Operating Officer at Quilter, responsible for the Group’s operations, technology, change, property and procurement. Her focus is on providing high quality support to Quilter’s advisers and customers and employees as well as working to simplify the company’s structure, systems and processes. Prior to joining Quilter, she worked at Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs in various operational, finance and IT roles and has been in financial services for the last 33 years.
She is a passionate ally to the LGBT+ community and has been recognised in the past in the OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model list and as Stonewall Senior Champion of the Year. She is very aware of the need to increase representation across all aspects of diversity in financial services and strives to create an inclusive and welcoming environment at work where everyone can be comfortable being their true selves.
She has a degree in French and German and a post-graduate diploma in Hotel and Catering Management
Karin has two grown up children, Emily and Will, and lives with her husband and their retired rescue greyhounds in Derbyshire where they do more walking than running these days.
