About
Bio: Bradlee has been at Northern Trust for 10 years and has held various roles within the bank. He currently is in the position of a Fund Accounting Training Consultant, studying for his CIPD.
Bradlee is also the chair of the LGBTA business resource council. Working alongside the LGBTA committee to help create an inclusive working environment, hosting LGBT+ awareness raising/intersectionality events and acting as a source of support to LGBT+ partners.
Being a role model is important to Bradlee, because he feels it is something that is lacking in the wider LGBT community. He says: "There is a shortage of positive LGBT+ role models in the media and little to none high profile sports personalities are out'. There has been a distinct shift in social attitudes in the last few years, towards being more LGBT+ inclusive in the workplace but there is still much more work to do. If LGBT+ people are to have sufficient representation, in the financial services industry, there needs to be more LGBT+ staff in more senior roles within organisations. In order to retain our LGBT+ workforce, we need to make the workplace an inclusive, welcoming environment where people can comfortable being their authentic selves."
Outside of work, Bradlee likes to read, write and has a passion for travelling; so likes to do the odd weekend break when he can!
