Bio: David is President and Chief Executive Officer for the US at Natixis Investment Managers, responsible for leading both distribution and the firm's affiliated investment managers in the region.

David joined Natixis in January 2008 and was President and CEO of US and Canadian distribution before being elevated to his current role in 2017. He previously worked at Fidelity Investments for 14 years, where he was president of the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, a donor-advised fund and one of the largest public charities in the United States. Mr. Giunta also headed Fidelity Charitable Services, a leading provider of administrative and other services to charitable organizations such as private foundations and donor-advised funds, including the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund.

David joined Fidelity in 1994 as vice president for the Fidelity Personal Investments and Brokerage Group. Later he served as senior vice president in charge of Fidelity's Eastern Region Investor Centers, director of Fidelity's Private Wealth Management Products & Services Group and senior vice president of the Fidelity Managed Money Group for Personal Investments.

Prior to joining Fidelity, David served as an analyst at BankBoston and was assistant vice president of new product development for Putnam Investments.

David received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bentley College in 1987 and an MBA from Boston College in 1991. He also is a CPA. He currently serves on the boards of trustees at Bentley University and The Partnership, Inc., the Board of Ambassadors for the Home for Little Wanderers, and the Boston Medical Center Philanthropic Trust Board.

David's work to create an equal culture is wide and far ranging. He has been instrumental in the setting of bold diversity and inclusion metrics, is a passionate supporter of the multi-cultural employee resource group and has led the firm in achieving greater gender balance partly through the Women's Leadership initiative. He is also an active ally to the Pride group, where he provides sponsorship, attends LGBT+ focussed awareness building interventions and supports the celebration of key LGBT+ diversity dates.

His leadership also extends externally to social sustainability causes where he has been a board member of The Partnership for seven years. The Partnership is organisation which builds racially and ethnically diverse leadership pipelines and David has supported with resources and led the involvement of the team at Natixis Investment Managers in the US. David is a regular speaker on the ESG agenda and is passionate about the investment industry's role in improving social sustainability issues.
