About
Bio: Maddi joined MFS in 2014 as Head of UK Institutional Business and assumed her current role as managing director - head of global consultant relations in September 2018. Prior to joining MFS, she oversaw the UK institutional business for AXA Investment Managers. Before that, she spent 16 years at Threadneedle Asset Management, where she served in a number of roles, including head of global institutional business, head of UK distribution, fixed income specialist, head of insurance asset management and fixed income portfolio manager.
Maddi is a member of the MFS Diversity Council, which includes MFS representatives from all geographic regions and business units and helps develop long term strategy, drive mutual understanding and encourage people to learn from another. She is also a member of MFS' EMEA Diversity Committee which is lead from MFS' London office and is much more hands-on in nature, looking at short term initiatives aiming to improve all aspects of diversity & inclusion.
Maddi says "Growing up with my wonderful but sometimes non-conventional family; and through my own experiences as a Single Parent and then a Step Parent, I know first-hand that relationships and families come in all shape and sizes, and are not always based on biological links. This has also given me some insight into the challenges that this can create in the workplace if you cannot be yourself. I am proud to be an LGBT Great ally role model, helping to drive a diverse and inclusive culture in our industry where everyone can bring their genuine selves to work"
