Bio: Tony joined Mercer in 2014 as UK Leader of Mercer Marsh Benefits. Prior to this Tony spent 6 years with healthcare and insurance company Bupa firstly as Australian Sales Director and then as UK Sales and Marketing Director for the Bupa Health Funding business. Prior to this he enjoyed success with AMP, the Australian Wealth Management and Financial Planning Group, and held senior roles in Pensions and Employee Benefits Consulting.

Tony holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, is a Fellow of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia, a Member of the Institute of Directors (UK), a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Associate Member of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance.

In his role Tony has responsibility for all of Marsh McLennan's employee benefits businesses in the UK and Ireland through a joint venture between Mercer and Marsh. Tony drives the growth of the business which provides advice, consulting and digital services to UK companies ranging from large corporate and multi-nationals to small businesses primarily in the areas of health, risk, pensions and flexible benefits.

Tony is a Mercer Partner and a member of Mercer's UK Leadership Team, the Marsh UK & Ireland Executive Team and also sits on the MMB International leadership team as UK & Ireland regional leader. Tony is also Executive Sponsor of the Mercer UK Pride group. In 2018 and 2019 Tony was proud to be listed in the OUTstanding Top 100 Role Model LGBT+ Executives. Outside of Mercer, Tony champions mental health and diversity and inclusion issues as part of the Mercer UK vision to Transform Wellbeing for all.
