About

Bio: Lorijent joined Man Group in 2020, working within the Compliance team as Deputy Head of Man AHL Compliance. He works collaboratively with colleagues across the firm and enjoys focusing on challenges within the algorithmic trading, alternative data and digital assets space. Prior to Man Group, Lorijent worked at Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director within Compliance.

Lorijent believes that ally role models play a vital part in creating a welcoming and positive work environment for everyone, and should lead by example in setting the culture as well as educating others on the obstacles faced by the LGBT+ community. As an ally, Lorijent is especially focused on using his position to help highlight and raise awareness of the challenges faced by the LGBT+ community and, however possible, help overcome them.

At Man Group, Lorijent is co-social secretary of the firm's Pride@Man network for LGBT+ employees and allies. Since joining, he has taken a key role in arranging and organising events, helping to build momentum and engagement. He also helps shape the ongoing strategy of the network alongside his colleagues. Looking ahead, he is excited to see the network grow and implement more initiatives to make the workplace more inclusive.

Lorijent is delighted to be recognised as part of LGBT Great's Project 1000 Role Models initiative and he hopes to encourage more allies to be vocal and engaged in fostering a positive workplace environment.
