About
Bio: Angus Jacobs is the Talent Consultant and Internal Coach for Global Sales & Marketing, and Man GPM, Man Group’s private markets business. Angus is based in London and is responsible for the identification, development and succession planning for their future leaders. He is also an NLP Practitioner and an experienced coach accredited in the use of several psychometric instruments. His coaching philosophy is based on creating a safe space where employees can be open and their true authentic selves, thereby having the courage to demonstrate vulnerability – and it is there where ‘lightbulb’ moments happen, inspiring growth and further development.
Angus is a champion for diversity, equity and inclusion at Man Group and actively participates in Drive (the firm’s global DE&I network) as well as Pride@Man (LGBT+ and allies network), which he previously co-chaired. Recently, he was appointed a Trustee to the Man Charitable Trust.
Previously, he has worked for various global companies including Citibank, where he was also the co-chair of Pride, their LGBT+ employee network. In his spare time, you can find him creating, directing, and choreographing musicals for London’s fringe theatres.
