Bio: After completing an MA in Gender, Society and Representation at UCL, Lottie joined Last Word Media as Quantitative Researcher in 2017. Lottie is responsible for carrying out primary and secondary research into the investment sentiments and market preferences of UK, European and Asian fund selectors. Last Word Research's flagship publication is called Future Flows which tracks the forward-looking investment sentiments of wholesale investors and pairs that with actual historical fund flows.
Lottie also carries out bespoke research projects on hot topics such as ESG investing, private assets, active and passive fund management and digital content consumption by market participants. Access to such a wealth of data and insights, allows Lottie to regularly contribute to Last Word Media's sister publications Portfolio Adviser and Expert Investor. Her most recent articles were on ESG and "The Greta Effect", increasing appetite for private assets throughout the UK and "fund managers versus fund selectors".
Lottie has been proudly out since 2013 and joining a company that is open-minded, tolerant and diverse was an important consideration. Lottie believes that having role models in the finance industry is essential in encouraging others to feel accepted and free to express who they really are, and because of this is proud to be a LGBT Great Role Model.
