Bio: Sandy is a Vice President at Franklin Templeton, responsible for leading its Customer Operations Group of 120 employees located across two continents. The firm is a US headquartered asset management company with approx. 9000 employees globally and circa 350 employees across its UK sites in London, Leeds and Edinburgh. Her group forms part of the International Transfer Agency division covering APAC, EMEA and Latin America. She is based in Edinburgh and has c20 years' financial services experience covering operations, business change and project management.

Sandy is an active Ally in the Pride@FTI UK Business Resource Group, the firm's LGBT network, which over the last few years has made significant strides in raising awareness and visibility for LGBT staff in the UK. Sandy has presented at many FT sites globally on topics related to LGBT and wider Diversity & inclusion topics. Sandy is also International Sponsor for a Global TA Diversity & Inclusion Program which drives embedding the Diversity & Inclusion mindset within the line of business and supporting the various Business Resource Groups; is Co-Global Leader of Women@FTI; Women@FTI UK Chapter Committee member; UK Diversity & Inclusion Executive Committee member and actively participates in ABLE@FTI BRG.
She states: "For me, Diversity & Inclusion has the most basic denominator which is that we are all human and as such, we all have the right to be able to live our lives to the fullest, be our authentic selves and live in a way that brings us happiness. I feel privileged to call myself a LGBT Ally and through my position and life experiences, I am proud to stand up and be a voice for others whilst modelling the way for other Allies."
Sandy lives in Edinburgh with her 2 grown up children, enjoys feeding her soul whether that be through travel, reading or discovering new food & drinks with close friends.
