Bio: Maria Abbonizio is the Global Chief Administrative Officer for Asset Management at Fidelity International, with global responsibilities covering Ireland through to Australia. Now based in the UK, Maria has previously held senior roles in Hong Kong and Singapore. She was the LGBTQ+ Network Co-Chair from 2021 to 2024 and remains a strong advocate and LGBTQ+ executive ally.
Maria has been actively involved in driving LGBTQ+ inclusion across our regions and offices. She has championed the importance of LGBTQ+ allyship to create inclusive workplaces and a more inclusive society at large. She is an active participant in Pride events and recognition of key LGBTQ+ dates throughout the year, both internally and in collaboration with peers and external partners.
Maria is an active role model who strongly supports an environment where people are free to be themselves.
