About
Bio: Ari is a partner in EY's Strategy and Transactions practice. Over the last 18 years he has provided operational advice on over 200 mergers, acquisitions, and divestments.
He primarily advises clients in the wealth, asset management and banking sectors and enjoys helping them to deliver transformational change.
Part of Ari's role involves helping clients to navigate complex people issues as they design their future organisations. Large transactions can be a catalyst for firms to rethink their culture and D&I agenda, particularly as they consider the composition of boards and management teams.
In addition to his client work, Ari is a sponsor for Diversity & Inclusiveness in EY's Strategy and Transactions practice across EMEIA. He is passionate about promoting a culture of equality and ensuring that a diverse range of voices are represented in EY's market-facing and internal leadership roles.
Ari has been at EY for over 10 years but previously worked at PwC and Barclays Bank.
In his personal life, Ari is a proud member of the LGBT+ community and lives in South London with his partner and welsh terrier.
Ari comments: "In my early career, I was hugely inspired by LGBT leaders. Their visible presence made me confident that I could be open about my personal life, while still having a successful career. Based on this personal experience, I see huge value in Project 1000 and other initiatives which increase the workplace visibility of LGBT+ colleagues and their allies".
