About
Bio: Scott Harris, Director, leads Business Development and Strategy across the UK and Ireland. He works closely with the Country Manager and business heads to grow the UK business.
Scott has held a number of roles at BlackRock including, leading the EMEA Retail Business Management and EMEA Retail Sales Management functions. He was also Chief of Staff to the Head of EMEA Retail and was part of the BlackRock Strategic Partner Program (SPP) team, responsible for delivering the full depth and breadth of BlackRock's capabilities to the firm's largest clients.
Scott is a senior advisor to BlackRock’s EMEA Out & Allies network (LGBT+ employee network). Prior to this, he was co-chair of the network for 5 years, during which time he championed and shaped the strategy of the network, driving several key activities such as BlackRock's LGBT+ client events, charitable volunteering and growing the firm's external presence through relationships with LGBT Great and OUTstanding.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Scott worked for the Australian Government, Goldman Sachs and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Scott has a BCom in Economics and a BA in Mandarin from Deakin University, Australia. He speaks both English and French.
