Bio: Anthony Thompson joined the New York office of Bernstein Private Wealth Management in 2008 as a financial advisor to high net-worth families and foundations. His practice includes a number of LGBT families and not-for-profit organizations. He has over 25 years of experience in fixed income, equities and alternative investments having previously held positions in banking and research at J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank. Mr. Thompson graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Emory University and also attended the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris.

Anthony is a former Institutional Investor Magazine All Star Analyst, a Certified Financial Planner™ and a Five Star Top Financial Advisor, as seen in New York Magazine. He serves on the board of the M·A·C AIDS Fund and Co-Chairs the Diversity Parents Board of Bucknell University. In his free time, he participates in half-iron man triathlons, competitive half marathons, and ultra-distance cycling events. With his partner, his has participated several times as a cyclist on the Northeast AIDS ride - 300 miles from Boston to New York -to raise money for the LGBT Center.

He founded and continues to head the LGBT employee resource group for Alliance Bernstein. He lives in New York City with his partner and 21-year-old son.
