About
Bio: Reuben is a Senior Policy Adviser on the Long-Term Savings team at the Association of British Insurers. At the ABI he is responsible for issues relating to retail and pensions investments. In addition, he is also on the ABI's Diversity and Inclusion team working to promote D&I internally as well as in the wider insurance and long-term savings industries.
Reuben started his career working in American politics; in 2012 he worked on President Obama's re-election campaign in Virginia, from there he went on to work on several other political campaigns, including Cory Booker's first campaign for the US Senate in 2013 as well as on Capitol Hill, where he worked on small business and finance legislation on the Senate Small Business Committee.
In his free time Reuben volunteers as a mentor for at risk LGBT youth. He enjoys photography, hiking and mountain climbing, he summited Kilimanjaro in February 2018. Reuben has a BA in Economics from the University of Sussex and a MA in Politics from the University of Manchester.
