About
Bio: Shaun advises corporates on all aspects of their global pension benefits, specialising in successfully making changes. He supports a wide range of corporate clients - from large multinationals to smaller clients, across multiple industries on the complex pension challenges they face. As a leading member of LCP's M&A Practice, he also has significant experience advising buyers and sellers on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions and restructurings, including carrying out due diligence and providing negotiation support.
As well as advising on Defined Benefit risks, Shaun works closely with the Defined Contribution team to help companies with benefit design, investments, benchmarking, analysis/ procurement of service suppliers, implementation, as well as engagement strategy using member communications and technology. Shaun is also a key proponent of Financial Wellbeing and how a good pension scheme can be a key cornerstone to help companies help their employees in wider aspects of financial wellbeing. Shaun holds a degree in Maths and Economics from Bristol University and is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
Shaun choose his career path when he was just 13 and has followed this course ever since. He found the right companies to work for, worked hard, found things he enjoyed doing and moved on when needed a new challenge. He very open about his strengths and weaknesses and has chosen companies who align with these values. He is a proud Dad of three boys which keeps him busy! He is passionate about mountain biking, travelling, people and culture.
Shaun first became interested in LGBT+ equality and inclusion through the lens of social justice. He has heard first hand from his friends about some of the challenges that LGBT+ people face and is committed to doing his part to support them. LCP has always supported people to be the best they can be and empowers people to reach their full potential. Shaun believes that this has been a key reason behind LCP's success.
