Bio: Raga D’Silva is an award-winning public speaker, LGBT+ activist, published author, host, and podcaster, best known as the co-creator and host of the acclaimed Older Queer Voices Podcast. A dynamic storyteller and LGBTQ+ advocate, Raga blends global business leadership with bold activism, drawing on a career that spans senior roles in India, New Zealand, and international markets.
As co-founder of Outspoken Speakers Network CIC, she builds platforms for underrepresented voices, sparking impactful conversations on inclusion, authenticity, leadership, and social change. Through Older Queer Voices, she champions ageing and often-overlooked LGBTQ+ lives, using narrative, empathy, and visibility to challenge ageism and inspire dignity.
A proud lesbian of Indian origin, Raga speaks openly about coming out later in life, cultural identity, and her fight for marriage equality. Her work has been featured on BBC World, Sky News, ITV, Channel 4, NDTV, and India Today, and she has been consistently recognised among the Top 100 Trailblazing LGBT+ Women. Raga was recently recognised for her work, and awarded an Inspirational Voice Award 2025 at the Ella International LesbianFestival.
