About

Bio: Laura started her career at JPMorgan before moving to TD Securities, where she held a number of junior positions within Operations before moving on to manage a small team. Laura then progressed to hold more senior management roles across Operations, including focusing on Strategic Initiatives and Client onboarding before heading up the European team for FX, Metals & Derivatives Operations. Now she is Head of European Trade Operations and Global Metals Operations. Over the last 5 years, Laura has helped to build TDS’s D&I culture, leading the European LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group, Forever Proud. She has been a driving force is pushing for education and awareness to be raised in Europe and Globally. Alongside her role leading the ERG within TDS, Laura has been a part of the InterBank Committee since 2020, most recently doing a 2 year tenure as the Co-Chair. InterBank is a Committee that brings together over 45 member firms from the Financial Services Industry in London, who come together to share LGBTQ2+ best practices and work on how to create more inclusive workplaces. InterBank extends beyond the committee to networking events for professionals in Financial Services, to allow them a space to build their own network and have an opportunity to meet with others in their industry in the community. Laura has worked with her ERG and the Executive Sponsor of Forever Proud to share the enhanced knowledge internally as well as provide opportunities for employees to attend events hosted by InterBank and their members firms to assist on personal journeys of education and awareness.
