About
Bio: Ignacio brings over thirty-five years of experience in financial markets, having commenced his journey with M&G in 2005.
In January 2020 he was appointed as CDO Americas - as well as Head of Global Banks and Investment Solutions GFIG until January 2024.
Prior to his current role as CDO Americas, overseeing M&G’s regional distribution from Miami since January 2024, Ignacio was in charge of launching and developing the Madrid office covering Iberia and LatAm.
Ignacio held pivotal positions at renowned institutions such as JP Morgan Fleming and Deutsche Asset Management. With a solid foundation in mutual funds, Ignacio’s expertise extends to equity sales, notably as Head of BCH Bolsa for Iberia from 1997 to 1999.
His academic background includes a Law degree from Complutense University of Madrid and MFIA Certificate by Instituto BME from the Madrid Stock Exchange, complemented by specialized coursework in Stock Exchange, Financial Markets, and Sales Management from esteemed institutions like CEPADE and Ashridge Business School. Ignacio is also an accomplished educator, having contributed to various MBA and MFI programs at EAE Business School.
Fluent in Spanish, English, and French, Ignacio embodies a multi-faceted professional equipped with a wealth of knowledge in global finance.
