Sarah Wilson

About
Bio: Sarah is the Executive PA to the CUO and Commercial Risk Director, having joined the company in September 2022. She has been a professional PA since 2018 and brings a wealth of experience from her diverse career background. Prior to her current role, Sarah worked in retail, transitioned into internal recruitment and HR, and qualified in payroll management in 2013. She has been part of the insurance industry since 2009.
Sarah is a proud member of the Pride Network, Carers Network and, the Commercial Inclusion Network at AXA, reflecting her strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. With over six years of experience in LGBT+ networks, she has made significant contributions to the LGBT+ networks including helping AXA and WTW achieve a place on the Top 50 Employers list in the Stonewall Global Workplace Equality Index. She has also reversed mentored a female senior leader, sharing her personal experiences as a mixed-race, bi woman growing up and navigating the workplace.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Sarah is passionate about her local Prides, believing that impactful change begins with inspiring others. This year, she volunteered at her town’s Pride Event. Outside of work Sarah is an avid walker and runner. In May 2023 she completed her first (and last!) ultra marathon, and she enjoys exploring the South Downs near her home. Sarah is also a dedicated cat mum to five rescue cats and actively supports local cat charities. Additionally, Sarah is a carer for her 98-year-old Great Auntie, which she balances alongside her professional and personal commitments.
Sarah is honoured to be part of the Women of Impact Programme 2025, where she aims to continue inspiring others, championing diversity, and making a positive difference in her community.
