About
Bio: Will Rice is a Partner, Executive Sponsor of the Pride Network at Barnett Waddingham. As a Scheme Actuary for defined benefit pension schemes, Will advises a number of pension trustee clients with scheme sizes ranging from less than £5m up to c£1bn on the issues they face with their schemes, including Scheme funding advice and valuations, Long term strategy including liability management, de-risking and buyout. Will implements scheme changes such as mergers, benefit re-design and wind-ups and manages scheme processes and functions such as individual calculations, member communications and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Prior to Barnett Waddingham, Will worked at Aon for 7 years as an Actuary.

"I put myself forward to be Pride Network Partner in early 2024 and was enthusiastic, and honoured, to take up the role. I want to help address some of the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community and ensure everyone feels accepted and included whether that’s the people who work at Barnett Waddingham, or work with us.
I believe that the work done by our DEI Networks is hugely important for us to continue to become an ever more inclusive organisation and I am delighted to be able to use my voice to support our DEI initiatives.
