Bio: Christopher Joell-Deshields (he/him/his) is an influential leader in the LGBTQ+ community, currently serving as the CEO of Pride in London, one of the world's leading Pride organisations and the UK's largest Pride event. With extensive expertise in LGBTQ+ advocacy, community engagement, and diversity and inclusion strategy, Christopher has been a transformative force in the Pride movement and LGBTQ+ rights sector.
Since taking the helm as CEO of Pride in London in 2021, Christopher has successfully led the organisation through significant changes, reinforcing its commitment to inclusivity and community representation. Notably, he is the first Black person to serve on the Board of Pride in London and its first CEO, marking a significant milestone in the organisation's history and serving as an inspiring role model for the LGBTQ+ community.
