About
Bio: Ted is an Engagement, Inclusion & Diversity Specialist at AXA Investment Managers, and initially joined the organisation in 2023 as a trainee through the Investment 20/20 programme. In his role, he supports the implementation of AXA IM’s Inclusion & Diversity Strategy, working closely with the Employee Resource Groups, to foster a workplace where all employees can thrive and bring their whole selves to work. Prior to his role at AXA Investment Managers, Ted comes from a consultant background, with experience working on DE&I projects in various different sectors.
Ted is originally from Sweden, where he achieved a Bachelor and Master of Science in Gender Studies from Lund University. As a gay man, Ted entered the field of Gender Studies in an attempt to understand the complex processes that played a part in making him feel shame in relation to his sexuality. His theoretical interests include intersectionality, queer-theory, phenomenology, and he has an affinity for bridging the world of theory and research to the everyday - in the mission of creating a world where everyone truly feels that they belong.
