Eric is a Chicago native who wears many hats. By day, he is a Second Vice President, Senior Paralegal at Northern Trust. Outside of his day job, Eric holds two "gay" jobs as he calls them. He serves as the President of NT Pride, Northern Trust's LGBTQ+ Business Resource Council and Director of Programming for Out In Finance, an LGBTQ+ nonprofit focused on bringing together LGBTQ+ finance professionals and allies together to network, grow within financial services, and break through the Rainbow Ceiling.
Eric holds an MBA in Management from Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University and aims to improve the experience of not just LGBTQ+ individuals in the workplace but anyone who comes from a marginalized community. From retail to working with the Special Olympics to entering the corporate world, Eric has a wealth of experience when it comes to understanding what people from all walks of life need. As a mentor, Eric hopes to inspire creative thinking when it comes to programming, identifying opportunities which can highlight intersectionality between different communities, and pass along some of the tips and tricks he has gathered over the past 7 years of growing ERG/Affinity groups.
