About
Bio: Bradford is a Managing Director and Private Banker of Citi Private Bank. He is responsible for providing tailored financial strategies to ultra-high net worth clients, endowments, and foundations across the Western US. Through Citi's broad platform, Bradford is able to deliver banking and lending, investment banking, investments, fiduciary and advisory services to clients and prospects. He joined Citi Private Bank in 2007 and has over 30 years of experience in the financial services and banking industry. Previously, Bradford was a Director at ING Capital for over twelve years focusing on originating, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring of credit facilities and equity co-investments. Previous to ING Capital, he was with Heller Financial (acquired by GE Capital) focusing on portfolio management and underwriting of highly leveraged loan transactions.
As a champion for progress, Bradford believes deeply in the importance of empathy and inclusion in the workplace. In 2022, he was recognized on the Top 100 Gamechangers List by LGBT Great and has been featured on the OUTstanding 100 LGBT+ Executives List annually from 2020-2023. During 2021-2024, he served as the North American Co-Chair of the Citi Pride Network Global Diversity Steering Committee. Other roles that he held included Executive Committee member of Citi’s Institutional Clients Group’s LGBT Council, Chair of Citi Private Bank’s Pride Diversity Committee, Co-Founder of Citi Pride Network California and currently serves as the group’s business sponsor.
Bradford co-created the first ever global LGBTQ+ Leadership Development Program at Citi, which, in its fourth year, continues to expand. He also oversaw the recent launch of the organization's LGBTQ+ Reverse Mentoring Program.
Bradford is also active with organisations that focus on volunteering and advocacy, representing the financial services industry, including HRC, Lambda Legal, One Archives, LA LGBT Center, Out & Equal, True Colors United, SAGE, Liberty Hill Out Fund and OutRight International. He recently served as a Board Director for a local Los Angeles non-profit organization focused on student enrichment and fulfilment.
Bradford is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with a BA in Economics and Stanford University's LGBT Executive Leadership Program.
