About
Bio: Kay is a young, independent, and well-experienced Senior Client Reporting Analyst within the Client Service Delivery Group, under the Client Reporting department of Northern Trust Philippines. Kay is an advocate of women empowerment, of diversity, equity and inclusion for Persons with Disabilities and of the LGBTQIA+ community, hoping to spotlight and bring visibility to the communities' struggles, and celebrate the distinctiveness and colors within each person.
Kay is equipped with technical, and interpersonal skills ready to face the challenges of the 21st century and has been awarded as the Q1 and Q2 2023 Stand-Out Performer within the team and has led and pioneered projects and initiatives for home location counterparts. Joining her first Pride March in June 2023, together with other Northern Trust attendees, Kay has always been an advocate for empowerment of women and of the LGBTQIA+ community since university days, which she has now transcended into the corporate platform.
In December 2022, Kay was one of the speakers for a Northern Trust event for International Day of Persons with Disability, themed Accessible and Equitable Workplaces for Persons with Disability. Highlighting the struggles and challenges faced by the PWD community and integrating these in the workplace set-up and helping to provide solutions towards inclusion. May 2023, Kay took on the speakership during the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia event within the company and has shared lived experiences as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, celebrated allyship and expressed gratitude to the allies of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Kay recently attended the 2023 Philippine Finance and Inter-Industry Pride Summit, Hiraya: Realizing our Hopes, Dreams, and Aspirations for the LGBTQ+ Advocacy as part of the delegation of Northern Trust Philippines. In this event, Kay was exposed to different aspects of diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, further concretizing her advocacy through sharing her story, bringing an open mind and heart hoping to inspire and be inspired by others’ stories and establishing foundations to more DE&I initiatives.
