Talent Acquisition Advisor at Janus Henderson
Isabel King is the Talent Acquisition Advisor at Janus Henderson investors based in the UK. She started her career as an apprentice in the NHS and currently her role entails working closely with each business area and supporting them with their recruitment needs, and looking after end to end recruitment. She particularly enjoys supporting Apprenticeship, Trainee and Graduate programs. Isabel studied the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the recognized HR qualification. She spent most of her life in Whitstable, Kent before moving to London and securing her position at Janus Henderson Investors.
Isabel’s first three years at Janus Henderson in the HR Coordination team helped her gain a lot of knowledge about the business as well as the broader HR department. As she started helping the talent acquisition team for early career roles, she understood that it was an area which she wanted to focus her career on, which has led to her current role and success. Isabel is a champion of LGBT+ inclusion and equality and believes that diversity should be celebrated in the workplace because it leads to authenticity and better opportunities
